Bands/Songs I Listen To

Ok so I am at work bored again so I’m going to make a list of bands that I listen to the most and then my 5 favorite songs by them. I actually started off only going to do 5 bands, but alas I like too many bands and just kept going. This list tends to change often as I listen to new musicĀ and stuff but at the moment this is what I like (in no particular order):

  1. The Beatles—I grew up listening to them and you have to admit they have come out with some pretty good music. Fav songs (again in no particular order): 1) Yesterday 2) Getting Better 3) With a Little Help From My Friends 4) Blackbird 5) Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds
  2. The Killers—I recently started listening to them and became obsessed for a while but now just enjoy thier music. Top songs: 1) Change Your Mind 2) All These Things I’ve Done 3) Jenny Was a Friend of Mine 4) Mr. Brightside 5) Bones
  3. Rooney—I went through an obsessive phase with Rooney when I was in high school and then listened to them so much I kind of got sick of them, but when thierĀ latest CD came out I was reminded how good they are and I listen to them all the time. Top songs: 1) Stay Away 2) Simply Because 3) I Should Have Been After You 4) Popstars 5) Sorry Sorry
  4. Gaelic Storm—I’m Irish and this is of course my favorite Irish band. Top songs: 1) An Poc Ar Bulle 2) Johnny Tarr 3) Before the Night is Over 4)Summer’s Gone 4) The Plouescat Races 5) The Night I Punched Russel Crowe
  5. Linkin Park—My brother got me hooked on this band a while ago. It’s good music to run to. Top Songs: 1) Faint 2) In The End 3) Numb 4) Valentines Day 5) Somewhere I Belong
  6. Panic At The Disco—I love thier music and how different it all is, especially thier first album vs. thier second album. Good running music as well as good sing-along music too (yay rock band! lol). I also love thier crazy song titles. Top Songs 1) The Only Difference Between Martyrdom and Suicide Is Press Coverage 2) I Write Sins Not Tragedies 3) Camisado 4) Northern Downpour 6) When The Day Met The Night
  7. The Fratellis—They are just great. Saw them in concert last fall and just got me even more hooked. Top songs: 1) Henrietta 2) A Heady Tale 3) Chelsea Dagger 4) Baby Fratellis 5) Creepin Up The Back Stairs
  8. The Decemberists—Another band that I recently have gotten into and I absouluty love thier music. Top songs: 1) Legionarre’s Lament 2) July, July! 3) Shiny 3) The Crane Wife 1&2 4) We Both Go Down Together 5) 16 Military Wives

Ok that’s it for now. I would add more because there are so many bands I like but I’m almost done with work.
